WATERTOWN, S.D. — The Spearfish High School Dance Team, led by coach Jessie Jeffery, wrapped up a strong season with a spirited performance at the Class AA State Cheer and Dance Competition held in Watertown.

The Spartans competed in multiple categories, showcasing their dedication, precision, and school pride on the state stage. In Overall Dance, Spearfish earned 17th place with a score of 446.5, reflecting their consistency and teamwork throughout the routines.

In the Pom Dance category, the Spartans placed 13th with a score of 227.5, delivering an energetic and synchronized routine that highlighted their sharp formations and creative choreography. The team also competed in Hip Hop Dance, where they finished 14th with a score of 219, impressing the crowd with their rhythm, athleticism, and stage presence.
