Spearfish, S.D. — Spearfish High School Activities Director Dalton Wademan is happy to announce the hiring of Lyric Williams as the new Spearfish High School Head Dance Coach.
Coach Williams succeeds Coach Jessie Jeffery, who stepped down after the 2025 campaign.
Williams takes over as the Head Dance Coach for Spearfish High School. She is a Spearfish High School graduate and is currently in her first year of teaching at Spearfish High School. Williams graduated from Colorado State University.
While at CSU, she was a member of the CSU Hip Hop Dance Club and served as the club’s president for one year. During college, she also worked as a gymnastics choreographer, creating floor routines for gyms in Wyoming and North Dakota. She continues to enjoy choreographing routines during the summer months.
“Coach Williams brings choreographing experience and a passion for dance that she is excited to share with the Spartan Dance Team. We are excited for her to lead our Spartan Dance,” said Dalton Wademan, Spearfish High School Activities Director.
