The Spearfish Spartans Volleyball team continued their late-season momentum with an impressive 3–0 sweep over the Rapid City Central Cobblers on Thursday night. The Spartans controlled every set, winning 25–11, 25–13, and 25–20.

Ady Bouman led the charge with 11 kills and a strong defensive showing with 16 digs. Kaitlynn Wheaton added eight kills, while Julie Billington contributed seven to round out a balanced offensive attack. On the back row, Faith Hoffman was steady as ever, tallying 12 digs to help keep the Cobblers’ offense in check.

The Spartans’ aggressive serving and strong transitions kept Rapid City Central on its heels throughout the match. With the win, Spearfish improves to 19-11. The Spartans will take on Rapid City Stevens on September 4 at 7 p.m.
