This weekend, Team South Dakota heads into Pool C of the Middle School Heartland Duals in Council Bluffs, Iowa, ready to take on Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. Leading the charge, Spearfish’s own Brayden Moser and Brody McCann have not only shined at the middle school level—Moser’s a high school state qualifier, and McCann placed second at middle school state—but both have already had time wrestling at the varsity level for Spearfish High School. In other words, they’re battle-tested.

But this event is bigger than just two wrestlers. Team South Dakota is a force, representing young talent from across the state. Each wrestler on that mat is there because they’ve earned it. This is their chance to prove that South Dakota wrestling is as tough as it gets.

So let’s rally behind them. Follow live on USA Wrestling and stand with Team South Dakota. This isn’t just another tournament—it’s their moment to shine. Good luck, Team South Dakota—bring it home.
