Day two of the Junior Spartan Athletic Camp was packed with energy, excitement, and hands-on learning as young athletes from grades 3 through 6 continued their weeklong journey through a variety of sports. Held on campus with the guidance of Spartan Head Coaches and athletes, the day brought new challenges, new friendships, and a whole lot of Spartan spirit.
For the boys, the morning kicked off with drills and scrimmages in football, basketball, and golf, before rounding out the day with track & field and cross country rotations. From throwing tight spirals to testing their endurance on the track, campers were encouraged to try new skills and push themselves in a supportive environment.
On the girls’ side, the schedule was equally dynamic. Soccer and tennis provided fast-paced footwork and strategy, while basketball, dance, and the track/cross country rotation gave athletes a chance to build coordination, confidence, and team camaraderie. It was a day full of movement, motivation, and memorable moments.
Spartan student-athletes played a big role again today, helping lead stations, cheer on the younger participants, and model leadership both on and off the field.
With two more days of camp still to come, the energy is high and the momentum is building. Each day features a new rotation of sports, so campers get the chance to experience something fresh and exciting every time they show up.
And the best part? It’s not too late to join. All 3rd through 6th graders are welcome—even if they missed early registration. Walk-ups are encouraged and welcomed.
